  First time trying HK Fortnum & Mason restaurant with my husband yesterday for lunch. Had to walk thru the shop, and climb a flight of stairs, with nice decor on the wall.

  The window view overlooking Victoria Harbour was nice, should be even better at night. To start, I ordered its sparking tea mocktail, refreshing and citric. For starter, I ordered grilled mackerel, pickled fennel and cucumber, which tasted good. My husband had linguine, taleggio & garden herbs.

  For main, I ordered local clam lingine Vongole. Instead of the usual white wine, garlic & olive oil sauce, this dish added cheese which was ok but not what I like. Clams were fresh though. My husband tried 30-day aged beef parpadelle which was tasty.

  For dessert, I had banana mille feuille. It was good though portion was small. My husband had raspberry and Madagascar vanilla crème brulee. Can be smoother in texture, but crispy top was good. He ordered Musea blend tea, a bit bland.

  Overall, we had a good dining experience. Will dine again here to see the night view.
