Terms & Conditions
The “Book More, Earn More” Diner Incentive Program (“Promotion”) runs during Hong Kong Restaurant Week Summer 2023 (“HKRW”) , from 25 July 2023 to 27 August 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
- Customers are required to register as a DiningCity Member (“Member”) and provide the following information (“Required Information”) in his/ her account to participate in the Promotion:
i) Valid Email address;
ii) English name identical to the one shown on any identify verification document (e.g., HKID card, credit card, student card, etc);
- If any of the winners who failed to provide the Required Information in his/her DiningCity account, DiningCity reserves the right to forfeit the winner’s prize.
- Only bookings and/or seats that are completed, meaning the member has booked, attended and settled the payment for, are eligible to score points in the Promotion (“Completed Booking”). Non-attendance or cancellation of booking or seats on the Member’s or their invited parties’ part will result in those points being removed from the accumulation of points.
- Members can check their live scores on the ranking chart on the Hong Kong Restaurant Week DiningCity App or website. The member’s nickname and display picture will be displayed on the ranking chart.
- Employees of DiningCity can participate in the Promotion and adhere to the same set of terms and conditions of the Promotion; the chance of winning will be identical to all other participants.
Points Collection Mechanism
Promotion is on a points accumulation basis. There are 3 ways for Members to gain points:
1. Get 20 points for each successful and Completed Booking.
2. Get 5 points for each seat attended in a Completed Booking.
3. Refer friends or family members to make bookings. Once an invited party entered the referrer’s invitation code during reservation and completed the Booking, 30 points will go to the referrer’s account. The invited party will also gain points from said booking as specified in Point 1 and 2 above.
Prize
- A total of 60 top-scoring members with the highest points accumulated in total during the Program Period (“Winners”), will be awarded a complimentary meal of Winners' Edition menu for 2 persons or equivalent (the “Prize”) from one of the designated Participating Restaurants (excluding any dish upgrade / supplements / add-ons, takeaway, beverages, 10 % service charge, tea and condiments). Participating Restaurants refer to those winning restaurants in Hong Kong Restaurant Week Summer 2023 entering the Winners’ Edition.
- The order of prize distribution will follow then winning restaurants' ranking in popularity in each menu pricing category from Elite Signature, Elite, Category A to Category B. (e.g. The 1st ranking winner will receive prize from 1st ranked restaurant in Elite Signature, so on and so forth).
- Winners will be able to redeem Two Sets of Menu at the designated Participating Restaurant.
- The rankings will be finalized on 23:59 of 27 Aug 2023. If the points scored are the same for two members, the member with an earlier registration time on the DiningCity platform will precede in ranking.
- Two Sets of Menu cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, services or discounts, nor can it be transferred.
- Two Sets of Menu cannot be used in conjunction with other vouchers, discounts, promotional offers and discounted items or membership offer (unless otherwise specified). Please check with the respective Participating Restaurants for details.
- Two Sets of Menu is subject to availability or change. Prior reservation is required. Please check with the respective Participating Restaurants for details.
- Two Sets of Menu is only applicable for dine-in consumption at the Participating Restaurant.
- Two Sets of Menu is not applicable for any dish upgrade / supplements / add-ons, takeaway, beverages, 10 % service charge, tea and condiments, or ticket selling activities (unless otherwise specified). Please check with the respective Participating Restaurants for details.
- The redemption period will be valid from 31 Aug - 1 Oct 2023 (both days inclusive), excluding festive days, general holidays (including Sunday) and days before a general holiday (unless otherwise specified.) Please check with the respective Participating Restaurants upon making the reservation.
Redemption
- Winners will be notified of their prize details at the email address registered on their DiningCity membership account on 29 August 2023. The email (“Confirmation Email”) serves as the Redemption Letter for the Winner to redeem in person at the designated Participating Restaurant.
- The Redemption Letter can only be redeemed once. The two sets of menu provided to holders of a Redemption Letter shall be redeemed in one go and not in separate occasions. Unless otherwise specified, any dish upgrade / supplements / add-ons, takeaway, beverages, 10 % service charge, tea and condiments charge still apply and payable by the Winner upon redemption of the Prize.
- Prior reservation by telephone call to the designated Participating Restaurant is required. Please state the use of the Redemption Letter upon making the reservation.
- Winners must present: i) a printed copy of the Confirmation Email; and ii) an identity verification document with the same registered English name in the DiningCity membership account to the restaurant staff at the restaurant reception.
- Restaurant staff may check the information of the Confirmation Email and collect the printed copy from the Winner for record.
General
- All photos displayed are for reference only.
- Product information / descriptions / prices / services / offers / food / beverage / menu descriptions featured in promotion materials are provided by the respective Participating Restaurants and are for reference only; DiningCity shall have no lability in this respect.
- DiningCity is not the supplier of the products / services / offers / food / beverage to be purchased, please check with the respective Participating Restaurants for details. DiningCity accepts no liability for the quality of products / services / offers / food / beverage provided by the respective Participating Restaurants.
- DiningCity and Participating Restaurants reserve the right to change or cancel the Promotion or amend the terms and conditions. Please check DiningCity website / App for the latest details, availability and terms and conditions of the Offer.
- Participants will not be able to enjoy the Dining Voucher nor be eligible to participate in the Promotion if DiningCity believes one has acted in a fraudulent or abusive way.
- In case of any disputes arising out of this Promotion, the decision of DiningCity shall be final and conclusive.
- In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and the Chinese version of the promotion materials or the terms and conditions, the English version should prevail.
