We arrived at the restaurant expecting to have a superb dining experience at a French restaurant. We were so wrong.

The restaurant is very small with tables surrounding it's open kitchen where we could feel the heat and smell everything from food to garbage throughout our meal. The interiors were one that you would expect of a $40 noodle place. The whole restaurant is equipped with one air-conditioner only - and it was malfunctioning. There were no window and the waitress refused to open the door to let outside air come in. My Apple Watch showed that it was 34 degrees tonight. We were at a table near the door n we kept fanning ourselves with the menu.

What made it worse was that there was suddenly a power cut, the whole restaurant went completely dark. Waitress reassured us that it was okay as this happened frequently. Everyone sat in total darkness, no air con, with the heat still coming out from the stoves. It was a living hell, my mum felt dizzy so I went to open the door.

The power came back on, but the air-con still down. We told the waitress we were suffocating and she gave us a min electric fan. We ate or dinner with the fastest speed and asked for our cheque. They charged us $1400 for 3 set dinners and 3 beers. They apologized but didn't give any discount or any compensation. (I mean they could have at least given us some ice for our water right?!)

The food was actually kind of nice, the king pawn starter was well grilled and seasoned and the lobster was fresh and the cheese sauce was okay.

We were supposed to celebrate my brothers birthday but he said it was the worse dinner of his life. We can buy a nice dinner at a decent restaurant with $400 in Hong Kong but instead we got this...

I had been to lots of restaurants during restaurant week, this is by far my worse experience and a total nightmare. I would never come to this restaurant again and I suggest the restaurant week organizer to vet your participating restaurants more thoroughly for next year.

No surprised in food but very surprised at the environment which so bad can anyone expected -- dishes general no french touch though it's french restaurant name, as the Restaurant Week manu, i tried clams in wine (very salty), rib-eye streak acceptable, only deserts gave us a smile.
In restaurant very bad ventilation, hot and smoky, it's not a chill out place in town. To my personal opinion, it's not meet the standard to put the name on the Restaurant Week, we can have much better options on the other dinning places.

This was advertised to us as a French restaurant, the only French thing in here was the beer and the fact that the plates had some French written on them.

The food was very bland, we ordered a steak, only to be told that they couldn't be cooked less than medium, only for it to be cooked well done when it arrived. The food was generally disappointing, the best part of the meal was the dessert.

The service was sub standard at best, it took a long time to ever get the attention of any of the wait staff and they were always in a rush.

The overall experience was so bad, that we cancelled another reservation in the HK Restaurant Week experience.
