Restaurant Wooloomooloo, live music, fine dining, a waterfront promenade and views of the Hong Kong skyline completes the experience that is Wooloomooloo Steakhouse (TST East). Located harborside in Tsim Sha Tsui East, we deliver the ultimate combination of our signature cuisine with surroundings to match. Beyond great steaks and excellent fare, the restaurant is a haven for the after work crowd, longing for a tipple after a long day. Or, simply migrate to the bar after dinner and enjoy a live show from our resident band, Rhythmix.
The finest cuts of Australian beef lead the way but we do not shirk on other areas of our diverse menu. Fresh seafood, chicken and beef brochette, homemade pasta and our heavenly wood-burned pizza ensure our diners a selection for every mood and every palate. As always, our wine list provides the companion to a great meal and a fine evening.
Being nicely located near the harbour, of course this place had a great atmosphere and it was comfortable to be in also. However the food really didn't hit it. For the price, I expected a lot more especially knowing the level that other similar restaurants presented. The service was ok but waiters did seem to be a bit unsure of what was happening in the restaurant, didn't ooze with the 'sophistication' I had in mind. I don't think I would go back to this restaurant, seems they could be just a good view restaurant rather than good food restaurant.
Food and Wine are nice especially the starter prawn and scallop with lobster sauce is excellent. Definitely recommended from this restaurant. I have lamb loin as my main dish. Not too bad but slightly overcooked while i asked for medium well. At the end i have green tea mousse with red bean and vanilla ice-cream. I am not a fan of green tea but i still enjoy by ending with a light dessert.
Overall, this is a recommended restaurant. Definitely come again.
Good food, nice red wine selection and superb services.
We went to Wooloomooloo TST because we like the Wooloomooloo in Wanchai very much. We were curious to see what this venue was like. The menu was a little bit different: we missed the steak you can share. The dishes we got were nice (stuffed tenderloin) and a little bit less nice (too much salt en too much garlic, forgot the name of the dish). The service however was great. It was my husband's birthday so they made him a dessert with 'happy birthday' on the plate and we didn't have to pay for this dessert. Wooloomooloo in Wanchai will still be our favourite though - mainly because of their rooftop.
Actually my conclusion for this restaurant is good. I have extra ordered half dozen oysters, but when the waiter put down the dish, he hasn't inform us how to eat, like which one to eat first or all the 6 pieces are the same, this made us a little bit confused. And I think their desert (I couldn't recall the name) with several different kind of fruits on it, is a bit sour to me..
very nice! even they re-baked the bread before presenting them to us, which is very considerate! but i think the topping of the dessert is too sweet for myself.
Nice place for dinner and service is good and food also up to standard.
Great food and service. Excellent harbour view. The Wooloomoollo train line does picked great views for their restaurants. Highly recommended to friends for birthday, celebration, romantic dinner. Will definitely try again.
It was excellent
